The ozone test

We won’t call it ozone-free. We had it measured.

Every ionizer makes a trace of ozone, and it’s the first thing a careful cat owner should ask about. So Revella Air went to an independent lab. Here’s what it measured, and what that number does and doesn’t tell you.

Revella Air, measured by the lab 0.002 mg/m³
California’s ozone limit for air cleaners 0.050 ppm (≈ 0.098 mg/m³)
The lab’s reading sits about 49× below that limit.

0.002 mg/m³

Ozone the lab measured, under its own test conditions.

49× lower

Than California’s 0.050 ppm limit for indoor air cleaners.

≈1 watt

A low-power ionizer, not an ozone generator built to flood a room.

What this number does and doesn’t mean

It’s one lab measurement, not a certification. We’re not claiming CARB certification, and we won’t tell you ozone is zero.

Your room is not the lab. Room size, airflow and placement all matter. Plug it into an open wall near the box, not inside a closed litter cabinet, and ventilate as you normally would.
